I think that a logo is a really good idea, not so much for the posters for our regular monthly meetings, although it wouldn't work unless we use it on these as well. Its more for the occasional one off events such as the George Szirtes event at the Meeting House recently. Although the event was promoted and organised by The Suffolk Poetry Society. Poetry Aloud headed by Rob was very much involved in promoting it, booking the hall and selling the tickets. I feel that adding a logo that identifies and links the event to Poetry Aloud adds considerable value to the poster, and at the same time promotes Poetry Aloud.

The Logo produced by Robin Crandall, is I think a really clever representation of what Poetry Aloud is all about and is colourful, attractive, interesting and memorable.

I Think that a Logo on our posters would be an excellent idea and that we won't find a better one than the one above.
