I look at the sky with wondering eye
I stare at the sea so wild and free
I cherish the earth, land of my birth
And all sits well with me
The whispering breeze within the trees
The babbling streams enhance my dreams
The birds compete with songs so sweet
And all sits well with me
With fragrant flowers to light my hours
With gentle deer my space to cheer
With family life of man and wife
And all sits well with me
Where folk sincere will lend an ear
Where we learn with time, our lives in rhyme
Where sweethearts swoon beneath the moon
And all sits well with me
As society's quick to aid the sick
As those with much provide a crutch
As rich and strong help poor along
And all sits well with me
While children play, so young and gay
While mind perceives, mankind achieves
While folk are kind with peace of mind
And all sits well with me
Yet society implodes as bombs explode
Yet far and near there's hate and fear
Yet push and shove pertain, not love
This is the real worls - see!
BUT
Let's all pray there'll come a day
When we all try, and don't pass by
When we all give, live and let live
When we all love like God above
THEN
Civilised we'll all be
