Lithe liquid shadows dance on antique white,
gold flecked geckos kiss above the door.
Victorian chairs aware of feminine curves,
watch sheep skins creep across ceramic floor.

Swazi candles breathe sea ripples on the wall,
long stemmed roses, yellow dresses, preen and bow,
to reflections of seduction — muted stars,
fine voile curtains, Flemish lace, cirrus clouds.

flutters lid to lure the full moon to her side,
the loosened bright pink wrap creates a shimmer,
addictive perfume wavers with the tide.

The marriage of the pair is like a vine —
luminescent pearls on driftwood lay entwined.
