the EDL & the girl in the clap clinic - a disturbing metaphor Copyright © Victor Weston 2011

the EDL graffiti on a bookcase in the clap clinic expresses anger
where human life has been brought so low:
degradation of disease and humiliation of faith and race

a beautiful blue eyed girl wistfully, anxiously
gazes out
rests her pretty head on her fingers as she waits
what will her outcome be will she be ‘sorted’
will her troubled brow cease to crease
the uncertainty of future outcomes disturbs
time ticks by
there's no change
just sadness & hurt at unwitting damage
inflicted on the system
the pretty girl is called to interview
what will the outcome be for her?,
or for England
