stuff accumulates
it fills and overfills attics, garages
understair cupboards, is left gathering dust under beds
in wardrobes - unwittingly blocking the entrance to “Narnia”
bungs up spare rooms - so guests can no longer stay
before you know every room in the house,
becomes overwhelmed

Stuff is when you no longer can find anything
because theres - too much - stuff - in the way
you may as well not have these items
stuff stands in the way of progress!,
like an elephant rampaging through the house you can’t ignore
Valerie knows Africa, speaks Swahili and is well acquainted with elephants
- and trophy hunting

We go elephant hunting together,
confronting and eliminating these unwanted mammoths
removing the superflous
unnecessary bulk, of stuff
to junk shops and the like
elephants are not the problem,
its when they stampede - trumpeting! - at you,
Valerie’s advice on how to “eat an elephant”:
- one bite at a time
