Father to son, father to son
Go wealth and title and land
With minimal gifts to the daughter
As long as a son is to hand.

It’s the mother, who was a daughter once
That carries the child that inherits
But pity the girl who fails to produce
The required heir of merit

Father to son, father to son
Our land is patriarchal
And property goes from father to son
With money and land and title

So why is it the motherland?
And why the feminine gender
When we speak of England glory
And praise those that defend her

Give to women the glory due
For England’s Noble past
And give them right to land and title

As their reward at last.
