It's Everywhere © 2008 Reg Wright
There is music, all around us
As we go from day to day.
Loud music, soft music
Played in every way.
Some like classic,
Some like jazz, bop rock and roll,
Western and swing
And music to touch the soul
In restaurants and supermarkets
Most everywhere you go
You hear this constant sound
They have even got it
In the public toilets
And on the underground
And yet, where would we be
With no semibreves, minims,
On lines and in spaces.
A world without graces.
