Another night in a lonely room
Confronted by the mounting gloom

Another night in a single bed
Where emptiness surrounds my head

Another night without your scent
More endless hours of dark torment

Another night to crave your touch
The sweet caress I loved so much

Another night I’ll miss our kiss
That used to seal our lives in bliss

Another night spent without you
At hand to tell my troubles to

Another night to constantly
Regret you’re not still here with me

Another night to lay and cry
Remembering our last goodbye

Another night I face the test
Of heartache now you’re laid to rest

The days are long and hard to bear
Sometimes one seems more like a year
Yet somehow even though you’re gone
I find the strength to carry on

BUT

Since you’ve been taken from my sight
Each night is - -
                        Just another night
