I want to hear them now

I might wish to offer correction
or clarification.

The point is
if you've something good to say
what are you waiting for?
If you've something bad to say
face me with it
If you've something to criticise
I'm not interested

The other thing is
don't play my favourite music at my graveside
I want to hear it now
play the Last Post
I don't want to hear that
play a Funeral March
much more appropriate
and it would be a good time to play
Hip-Hop or Country

The fact of the matter is
I will be trying my hand at harp
or accordion, more likely,
so write a musical tribute
suitable for the instrument
one for each...
just in case...

When I'm gone
if the clouds are scudding across the sky
I'm probably playing duck and drake with them
if a volcano erupts
I've probably stoked the fires too high

So cheer up!
If I've died
you might as well try
to make me laugh.
