Our love was quick to blossom in the Spring
Just one to one. No outside influence we did allow
To slow the vigorous growth
Of tender passion and concern for one another

Though frost and tempest raged about us
We were each other shield
And we hald summer firm
Though many a tempest strove to wrest it from our grasp

Together we were invincible
Against all that man or nature
Could devise
To thwart the course of love
