I'll build me a house
On the far side of the moon
Which only the astronauts and God
can see
And there I'll live
In the blind spot
Invisible to telescopes
Unavailable
Where the radio and TV can't reach me
Where the supermarkets won't deliver
Out of reach of humanity

And until I take up residence
It will be perfect.

In the town square at Albuferia in the Algarve human statues, dressed as historical figures or tramps stand motionless until passers by drop a coin into their tin.

Only the sun
makes this place different

Time was stopped
We were at the beginning, and end of everything

Although no one knew it
Except, perhaps the human statues

Who standing motionless
Would only move

When a coin was dropped
Into their tin.
